Jug finished with a Bronze Medal at the EuroCup Championships in May. Tony scored four goals a piece in the Semifinals and Final Four round matches, after scoring eight goals in the preliminaries. Jug opened up with a perfect 5-0-0 record in round two behind 10 goals from Azevedo.

After a close first period (3-3), a 2-0 score in the second frame proved to be the difference, as each team traded goals in the third (3-3) , before Pro Recco outscored Jug 3-2 in the fourth, as Jug held on for the win in the first of six preliminary matches of four pools. Jug at one point led 10-7.

In the Second Day of Preliminaries, Jug jumped out to a 2-1 first period lead, before Shtum shutout Jug in the second period, 2-0, to lead 3-2 at the break. Both teams traded goals in the third period, before Jug tied it up with a 3-2 advantage in the fourth.

On the Fifth Day of Preliminaries, Jug jumped out to a 4-2 lead after the first period and then scored five unanswered goals in the second to cruise to the victory. With 10 points, Jug remains in first place, a point ahead of Pro Recco.

On the Sixth and Final Day of Preliminaries, Azevedo was shutout in scoring and Pro Recco came back to win the final preliminary. In a tight first half, Jug led 4-3 at the break, but could not counter Pro Recco, which outscored Jug 3-2 in each of the final two quarters to win. The win keeps Pro Recco at the top of the ladder at 4-2-0 (12 points), while Jug is second with 10 points and finish 3-2-1 in the preliminaries.

ABOUT PARTIZAN: Partizan Raiffeisen went 5-0-1 in one pool, going undefeated against teams from Hungary and France. The bottom two teams combined for just five points, while the second place team, VasasPlaket Budapest, from Hungary, went 4-2-0.

Jug went up 3-1 after the first period, but saw one of the top teams from Serbia, rebound and tie it at 5-5 at the break. Partizan slowly pulled away in each of the next two quarters, outdueling Jug, 3-2 in each.

In a must-win game, Jug did just that, beating Partizan by four goals and in doing so, Jug moves onto the Eurocup Final Four (based on a tiebreaker based on goal differential). Azevedo led with three goals as Jug led 3-2 after the first period and went up 7-4 at the break. After closing to within 9-7, Jug outscored Partizan, and fellow National teammate Ryan Bailey, 2-0 in the final period to move onto the championship.

ABOUT THE TEAMS: Recco spit their two games with VasaPlaket (Budapest), splitting the two matches, but winning their first contest by three goals, moving them to the Finals. Pro Recco finished first ahead of Jug in the quarterfinals, going 4-2-0 and and splitting their two contests with Jug.

Mladost finished 2-1-3 and in second place in one division and Primorac was 4-2-0 and second in another division. Mladost split its two games, winning its final contest to move on. Primorac tied its first match and won its second match by a single goal.

In the Third Place match, Jug won a shootout with Croatian rival Mladost, 14-13. Jug opened up with a 5-4 lead and then took a 8-6 lead at the break, before the rivals closed to within one (11-10) at the end of three quarters. Jug and Mladost would trade goals in the final period to give Jug the bronze medal
