AZEVEDO TO JOIN
JUG DUBROVNIK IN CROATIA

Tony Azevedo, regarded as the world's top water polo player, has agreed to play for Jug Dobrovnik in the Croatian Professional Water Polo Federation starting in January, 2008.
Jug, the top pro team in Croatia, has won five of the last seven Croatian Water Polo cups. They have won the last four National Championships of Croatia (2004-07) and prior to that won 22 National Championships in the former Yugoslavia. Jug also won the 2006 European Championship, the 2006 European Supercup and the 2000 Len Trophy.
Azevedo had spent the previous two seasons playing for Can Bissolati in the A1 Professioanl League and spent the 2005-06 seasons playing for Latteria Sorensia in Cremonia, Italy. He had 36 goals this season.
