Brazil closed to 5-4 with seconds left in the third period before the Americans scored three unanswered in the fourth to lead 8-4.

Team USA pushed itself into the semifinals after a back and forth first half. The U.S. finally built an 8-4 lead late in the third only to see Argentina answer with two to close to 9-6. The Americans than scored its final four goals to keep the U.S. undefeated.

The Americans moved onto the gold medal game with relative ease leading 4-0 after the first period and 6-0 at the half.

After sitting out the Pan Am Games with a muscle strain, Tony returned to lead the Americans to the gold medal. Tony gave the U.S. a 2-1 lead early and then again 3-2 right before the half. His final goal kept teh Canadians at bay, making it 5-2.
