The Americans will play in the World Championships in China in July 2011, as a part of the U.S. squad competing in swimming, water polo, diving and synchronized swimming.

The U.S. committed an estimated 17 turnovers. “The end result was 17 turnovers for us and we started off terribly, you can’t go down 4-0 and expect to win a game. We fought back pretty strong, it shows the team has heart, but we just couldn’t finish," said Azevedo. |

Team USA dropped a one-goal decision to Hungary, ending an automatic bid into the Olympics (It will now need to qualify for 2012 Pan Am Games in October). The U.S. led 3-1 after teh first period, and 5-4 at the half. But Hungary scored one more goal than the Americans in each of the final two periods. |
